In this key role you will oversee the West Coast Key Account Sales
Team to execute on strategic growth plans to achieve the
organization's goals and objectives. You will be actively
identifying new prospects and maintain long term key customers by
understanding their business and applications to provide solutions.
In this field-based role you will travel throughout the West Coast
Key Account Sales territory.
How you will make an impact:
Build and develop an efficient sales team to achieve business
objectives and customer satisfaction across the area of
responsibility
Directly supervise, coach, develop, and train the Key Account
Managers within the sales region, as well as leading key account
management efforts
Focus on team development, building a talent pipeline, and
commercial skills training
Lead strategic direction for the territory; Develop sales
strategies to meet plan and expand business within assigned
territory; maintain pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed
sales objectives
Drive the sales planning process: establish sales targets and
objectives,
Acquire new and expand the relationships with existing customers by
continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
The skills and experience you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business, and/or related
experience
3+ years leading a field-based sales team
5+ years field sales experience, B2B sales experience to the Life
Science industry
50% travel, mostly within the specified region
Based out of San Francisco Bay or Los Angeles Area
Has a solid understanding of Life Science Single Use and/or
Filtration Technology Consumables and the competitive landscape
Experience achieving ambitious sales targets with accurate
forecasting and solid sales fundamentals
Proficient with CRM Adaptation and CRM Pipeline Management

expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from
this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
