Volt is immediately hiring for a Cleanroom Technician for a local leading organization in Manufacturing.

Positions for 1st Shift (6am to 1:30pm)

Temporary - (approximate end date is April 28, 2023)

Hourly rate $18/hr.

As a Cleanroom Technician/Assembler, you will:

• Measure, cut, positions and align tubing and small components for assembly.
• Operates cable guns, tubing spreader, bag sealers, tubing cutters and manual cutting devices.
• Reads instructions and drawings, assemblies to identified product specifications.
• Cleans components and finished assemblies as well as determines sequence of assembly.
• Operate in a cleanroom environment. Cleanroom Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
  
  Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  
  Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED or up to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.
  
  Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  
  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  
  We have job openings on both 1st and 2nd shift (Monday through Saturday: 1st shift: 5:30am to 2pm OR 6am to 2:20am AND 2nd shift: 3pm to 11:30pm
  
  Pay for this position is up to $18/hr. Plus overtime as needed. DOE
