Imaging Sensors provides advanced imaging solutions for a variety of customers, including the DoD, NASA, prime system integrators, and commercial customers. In the civilian space arena, Teledyne sensors are the most advanced sensors on board the Hubble space telescope, and they are also found on board the majority of NASA space probes and ground based telescopes. In the DoD arena, Teledyne sensors are integrated into several major systems for persistent surveillance, chemical detection, and target identification, among others.Position Summary and Responsibilities Position Summary:Experience in equipment maintenance and repair within a cleanroom environment particularly for semiconductor process tools. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, preventive maintenance, perform emergency repairs and scheduling workload. Must interact well with peers, process engineers, facilities, vendors and suppliers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Assist to maintain equipment in cleanroom with a goal to continuously reduce downtime* Assist to maintain photolithography equipment, ion implanters, RIE etch tools, PECVD systems, e-beam deposition chambers, and thermal evaporators* Interacts with facilities, vendors and suppliers to reduce downtime of production equipment and tracks downtime using Excel spreadsheets* Continuously obtains knowledge of fabrication equipment to maintain uptime* Assist to perform electronic troubleshooting and reads/understands electrical schematics* Assists in purchasing and qualification of new capital equipment * Composes TME documentation and maintains an inventory location and control system of spare parts for each system* Researches and purchases equipment parts* Schedules and performs projects and supports other departments and managers as needed* Frequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of dataQualifications Qualifications & Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:* Knowledge of vacuum technology operations, service and repair* Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment* Strong mechanical aptitude* Ability to exercise a considerable amount of independent judgment* Ability to effectively communicate with outside vendors, suppliers and other department members* Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)* Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practicesEducation and/or Experience* High School Diploma with seven (3) to fifteen (5) years of experience or Associate's degree with five (1) to ten (3) years of experience in Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance.Citizenship RequirementsDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.What can Teledyne offer YOU?A Competitive Salary & Benefits PackageExcellent Health, Dental, VisionPaid Vacation TimePaid Sick TimeLife Insurance BenefitsPaid Holidays401(k) EligibilityEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEducational Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Fun Events throughout the yearCitizenship Requirements Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
