POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Source and procure goods and services for the support of various

departments. Buy and sell computer parts and equipment.



Key Requirements:

• Fully onsite position here at Camarillo
• Experience as a buyer (negotiating and purchasing)
• Experience purchasing in IT/electronics a plus but NOT required
• Bachelor' s Degree
• Covid Vaccinated and boosted
  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
  1. Source product and price negotiation
  
  2. Supplier qualification and management.
  
  3. Purchase stock inventory as well as provide procurement support for any back ordered products.
  
  4. Negotiate pricing and delivery schedule for parts.
  
  5. PO generation and maintenance. Daily updating of purchasing reports and P.O.' s into oracle
  
  database, expedites orders, maintains database for vendor performance and existing orders.
  
  6. Interfaces with customers and all level of employees; and requires status reports.
  
  7. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  
  8. Report any accidents or injuries to supervisor immediately.
  
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
