This role is an excellent opportunity to join our Predictive Analytics team to support Aquatic Informatics suite of digital twin and decision support products. These core growth products provide municipal drinking and wastewater customers with the predictive and prescriptive insights they need to operate optimally.This leader will have the opportunity to directly contribute and cultivate a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of engineers and data scientists applying cutting-edge technology to deliver solutions that have a tangible impact on the environment and human health.Key Responsibilities:+ Work with senior business technical leaders and stakeholders to translate product vision into a concrete plan defining research and software roadmaps design and implementation+ Lead machine learning system modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques as well as software development+ Work with the Senior Manager, Engineering to cultivate effective Agile, interdisciplinary team management practices and process that drives team engagement+ Coach, train, hire and encourage career developmentQualificationsEducation:+ Masters or PhD in engineering, data science, computer science, or related discipline.Experience:+ 5+ years of experience in the research and development of software solutions for modeling, simulation and optimizing systems.+ 1+ year of experience leading engineering teamsRequired Skills:+ Experience in Machine learning techniques+ Practical experience crafting and delivering large-scale, data-driven software solutions.+ Experience with Agile processes.+ Experience with relevant data science and software development tools (e.g., Jira, Git, DVC, MLFlow).+ Experience with Python or other high-level language (Scala, C#, Java)+ Understanding of foundational statistics concepts and machine learning algorithms: linear/logistic regression, random forest, neural networks, etc.Preferred Skills:+ Knowledge of municipal wastewater and drinking water processes and control+ Experience with SCADA, IoT and other industrial technologiesCompensation details:The salary range for this role is 95K - 120K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
