CPI is currently offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an entry-level Business Development Representative in our Camarillo, CA office with a focus on Cybersecurity.

Day to day Responsibilities:

  • Begin every day at the office preparing and planning your day as well as attending training/team meetings
  • Qualify marketing-generated leads from campaigns, website programs, conferences, and other channels
  • You will make outbound calls to set face-to-face appointments with prospective clients
  • Learn and demonstrate the benefits of all of CPI's services and solutions

  • Take meticulous notes of all your activities in our CRM
  • Canvas local office buildings and business parks
  • Attend local conferences, meetings, and industry networking events

You're a fit if:

  • You bring a high level of energy and are committed to achieving your sales goals in a dynamic environment
  • You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • You are tenacious and have a desire to commit to growing a career with CPI
  • You are interested in learning about new businesses and solving problems for your clients
  • You are a competitive individual with a proven ability to be a leader through various types of experiences (sports, clubs, community organizations, etc.)
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a need to control your own income
  • You have at least 1 year of sales or cold-calling experience-a plus, but not required
  • You have market knowledge surrounding Cybersecurity-a huge plus, but not required

You must have:

  • A desire to succeed
  • A willingness to learn and be coached
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to type on a keyboard, pick up a phone, and use a web browser
