The Medical Assistant will perform the routine tasks needed to care for patients within the Centers for Family Health.QualificationsRequired: * High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) * Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a medical assistant training program * Currently certified as a Medical Assistant by a recognized certifying organization or eligible to sit for exam within 30 days of hire, acceptable certifications are CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMT, AAMA ABROE * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Preferred: * Bilingual in Spanish * Knowledge of medical terminology.
