As a Software Database Engineer for our organization, you will support the warfighter mission including efforts involved in the Electronic Warfare Database.The team is looking for you to join our organization as a Principal Software Database Engineer. While supporting the EA-18G programs, you'll get to:Collaborate with our customer, internal NG sites and other engineering disciplinesImplement and maintain smooth operation and physical design of databasesPerform database maintenance tasks to support application changes and ensure integrity and efficient performance of the databases. (Typical maintenance tasks include backup, recovery, migration, space management, structural changes, and performance tuning)Participate in the research and resolution of database problemsMaintain security and integrity controlsParticipate in Continuous Integration setupsBasic Qualifications:Must have SQL server database experienceBachelors degree and 9 years experienceMaintained database larger than 1 gigabyte with more than 100 tablesExperience with T-SQL programmingStrong abilities writing queries, stored procedures, and functionsAbility to function as a member of an integrated teamMust be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance before you startPreferred Qualifications:Strong verbal communication skillsExperience with PostgreSQL and P-SQLExperience with VBA for both Excel and AccessExperience working in an Agile environmentKnowledge of Electronic Warfare principlesSalary Range: $129,700 USD - $194,500 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
