a Manager, Human Resources (Operations & Compliance) to join our
team in Camarillo, CA! This is a full-time, exempt
position.Responsibilities:Oversees approximately three (3) HR team
members who work directly in the employee lifecycle, benefit
administration, leaves of absences, accommodations, workers comp
and additional areas within HR. Provides ongoing support, feedback
and guidance as needed.Supervises work processes and procedures for
onboarding, conversions, offboarding, status changes, org charts,
immigration, and infectious disease response. Audits the inputs of
team to ensure accurate data entry. Ensures compliance with all
federal and state regulations. Ensure a smooth and efficient
employee experience around onboarding and offboarding and establish
processes/systems to gauge feedback from employees.Oversees the
administration of all local and international benefit plans and
programs; this includes open enrollment, 401(k) plan management
(John Hancock), ancillary & voluntary benefits, workers'
compensation, OSHA reporting, wellness. Steps in to troubleshoot
escalated issues or questions for HR team as needed. Oversees the
process of leaves of absences; this includes FMLA, CFRA, PDL, CPFL,
STD, LTD.Oversees and maintains the optimal function of HRIS (ADP),
LMS (Litmos), and other HR systems including but not limited to,
installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades
to applications, systems, and modules. Establishes department
standards and procedures to maintain proper framework, security and
access. Research to maintain awareness of current trends in HR
technology and data analytics to promote innovative solutions and
proactive approaches to anticipate future needs.Develops and
maintains global HR metrics dashboard. Completes global HR
department reporting including: monthly headcount report, quarterly
metrics report, quarterly board reporting, and as needed. Captures,
analyzes and identifies workforce trends and reports out to Senior
Leadership.Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies
and procedures; ensures compliance and ongoing maintenance of
handbooks and policies and procedures. Monitors HR associations and
publications and keeps up to date with changing
regulations.Evaluates and continuously improves the employee
experience as it relates to HR Operations (onboarding, benefits,
leave of absence, offboarding, etc.). Review and recommend
strategies to maximize our current systems and processes to scale
with the company growth.Ensures HR operations, systems and
compliance processes are documented and kept up to date.Oversees
Hygiena University (LMS) and ensures compliance with required HR
training, e.g. sexual harassment, onboarding, etc. Identifies
training needs within area of oversight and assists with mapping
learning paths for employees and managers.Manages Federal
Contractor & affirmative action program, EEO-1 & California CRD
annual filing and maintenance of other records, reports and logs to
conform to federal and state regulations.Ensures compliance with
all federal, state and local employment laws.Ensures compliance
with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training,
policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant
legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.Actively supports and
participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and
the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all
requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention
Program (IIPP).Carries out all responsibilities in an honest,
ethical and professional manner.Must be able to fulfill essential
job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe
manner.Handles various other duties as delegated by the Sr.
Manager, Human ResourcesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human
Resources, Business Administration or a related field
required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources field
required that includes the following:3 years working in varied HR
disciplines including HRIS, HR Operations, Benefits, Employee
Experience, HR Compliance, International HR, Metrics Analysis.Prior
supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
required.Bilingual in Spanish and English required (verbal and
written).Salary Range (applicable to California):$100,000 -
$140,000 annual base salarySupervisory Responsibilities:In
accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State
laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities:
Interviewing, hiring, orienting and training employees; planning,
assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and
resolving problems; enforcing all safety rules and ensuring safe
work procedures.Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written
communication (English and Spanish languages).Comfortable
interacting and working with all levels of internal and external
customers, from Executive to employee.Excellent interpersonal
skills: ability to build collaborative relationships.Must have
in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be able to use
discretion and independent judgement.Ability to maintain
confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information as it
related to company and talent.Must be strong project management
skills and ability to execute projects/programs strategically
throughout the organization.Must be able to work in a team
environment.Must be able to pay close attention to
details.Effective listening skills.Ability to meet deadlines and
prioritize.Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing
environment.Must be able to lead HR team members through major HR
