The Talent Acquisition Advisor/Human Resources Associate helps achieve this by fostering client relationships by performing a variety of HR functions with a strong focus on talent acquisition. As a strategic partner to our clients, this position will work closely with professionals and executives at all levels to build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates while managing the employee experience, from the first contact through onboarding. This position works closely with the Talent Acquisition Department Manager but should also be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, and HR projects.Responsible for identifying opportunities to build talent pools, establish trust and partnerships with clients, identifying potential fit through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process based upon unique client needs, and ensure a positive new hire experience. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and other regulations, as appropriate. This role is a full-cycle recruitment role, which requires a consultative approach at a high-level with operational staff, managers, directors, and C-Suite client-stakeholders, and NLR's internal team. NLR TAA (Talent Acquisition Advisors) are both transactional and strategic in the delivery of recruitment services. We are true TA Business Partners who act as the embedded TA ambassadors for our clients as one of their own. A high-level of customer service to clients and candidates with frequent and timely communication with all parties is essential at all times. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Primary ResponsibilitiesThis position is strategic and hands-on with the following responsibilities;

  • Working in a consultative manner with key client stakeholder relationships on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Strategically manage and remain cognizant of clients recruiting budget to ensure qualified candidates are presented in an appropriate period of time
  • Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates
  • Effectively utilize ATS to recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend the final selection of applicants, and close qualified candidates.
  • Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings.
  • Place and update all job postings in various Media including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners.
  • Recommend creative recruiting approaches and techniques
  • Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed.
  • Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring the process is engaging and that processes are followed and accurate.
  • Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with clients to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  • Recommend new approaches and techniques to ensure continual improvements in the efficiency of the Company and services provided
  • Protect the interests of the clients and New Level Resources in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.
  • Continuously expand and develop knowledge in all areas of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.Required Skills & Knowledge
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR a plus).
    • Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience managing online/social media recruiting (LinkedIn).
    • Ability to create talent pipelines in a variety of industries including, but not limited to accounting, finance, creative/marketing, hospitality, and manufacturing.
    • Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills - ability to effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners. Including the ability to effectively sell an organization's value proposition.
    • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to obstacles.
    • Tact, diplomacy and calmness, especially when dealing with difficult clients and potential candidates
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
    • Strong English, written and oral, communication skills.
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills. - proven ability to manage multiple priorities, workflows and deliverables
    • Must maintain a positive, friendly, supportive attitude and professional image at all times.
    • Proven understanding and knowledge of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs is preferred.
    • Strong customer service, negotiation skills, and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout a company.
    • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Education & Experience
      • 2 years of full-cycle talent acquisition/recruitment and interviewing experience required.
      • Additional Humane Resource experience and knowledge a plus
      • Active affiliation with appropriate networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferredCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations
        • Valid CA Driver's License required and proof of driver's liability insurance.
        • Relevant training certifications in industry topics helpful.ScheduleThis is a full-time position, and hours of operation for the office are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Work EnvironmentThis job typically operates in a professional office environment at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels - routinely uses standard office equipment. Remote work may be considered. Travel RequirementsShort-distance travel as needed - approximately 25% travel to and from office to client sites Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
