(Adventist Health Bakersfield) Position: NICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Bakersfield, CA – 254-bed acute care hospital Shift:
Night Shift – 36 hours/week Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
NICU specialty experience System: Cerner experience required Key
Responsibilities: - Provide coordinated nursing care for NICU
patients using the nursing process and established standards of
care. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while
monitoring patient progress and outcomes. - Collaborate with
physicians, healthcare teams, and families to ensure safe and
effective care. - Supervise and delegate tasks to other nursing
staff and support personnel. - Participate in patient education,
discharge planning, and care coordination. Requirements: - Active
RN license in the state of practice - BLS/CPR certification
required - BSN preferred - Acute care experience preferred - DOB
and SSN required at submission Additional Notes: - Facility
requires vaccinations as a condition of employment
(medical/religious exemptions may apply). - Adventist Health
