Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel-RN Labor and Delivery Location: California Department/Unit: Labor & Delivery Salary Range: $70 to $80 per hour Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Duration: 13 Weeks Num of Positions available - 4 Position Summary: Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for the Labor and Delivery unit in California. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive experience for mothers and newborns. Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients during the labor process and delivery. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor. Administer medications and interventions as necessary to ensure maternal and fetal health. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about the labor process, pain management options, and postpartum care. Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records. Requirements: Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWONN (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring). 36 hours per week (GWW) commitment. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
