Job Description Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Camarillo, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Unit Notes - Unit: ACU - Combo of Telemetry, medsurg, and DOU - beds: 50 beds - Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Ratios: 1 to 5 medsurg, 1 to 4 tele, 1 to 3 for DOU - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: Yes - Nurse Aides: depends on census - Weekend Requirement: every other - Holidays: one major and one minor - Scrub Color: navy -Tele Monitors: phillips - they do have a monitor tech, NURSES MUST BE ABLE TO READ STRIPS - Do nurses read strips: yes - Drips: yes - cardizem, amoidarone (non-titrating) - Vents: yes - bipap or cpap, DOU will sometime get chronic vents, travelers will not work DOU - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes - on call after hours, hospitalist is shared between SJRMC and SJPVH - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: yes - Pharmacy 24/7: yes - Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 6:45am-6:45pm, 6:45pm-6:45am, self scheduling but not guaranteed - Floating: ACU will float between medsurg and tele - Floor specific orientation: one shift at each facility - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: post surgical, ortho, cardiac
