Job Description:
The Behavioral Support Specialist supports classrooms for
children with social-emotional barriers, focusing on transitions,
behavior plans, and emotional regulation to ensure safety.
Provides behavioral health services, observations, modeling, and
resource referrals to staff and families.
Assists with assessments and develops individualized,
strength-based plans collaboratively with team members.
Requires a Bachelor--------s degree in psychology, social work,
early childhood education, or related field, with 2-3 years of
experience in young children--------s behavioral health.
Must be organized, computer literate, team-oriented, and possess
strong communication skills.
Supports respectful, culturally competent service delivery,
recognizing each moment--------s importance.
