Rently is an ISO 27001 and PIMS 27701 Certified Organization The Director of Operations reports directly to the COO and is responsible for leading multiple departments stakeholders to help implement corporate processes that help scale the organization. The Director of Operations will be working with supply chain, warehouse and ancillary department stakeholders to help understand process gaps, craft standard operating procedures, and implement corporate processes across the organization. The Director of Operations oversees the people, process and product implementations within all facets of the company. - The Director of Operations will help lead and grow the company, deliver data reporting, provide guidance and implement action plans with other department stakeholders. Some day-to-day tasks include---

  • Building, understanding and maintaining comprehensive reporting with regards to supply chain, warehouse, and ancillary departments as determined by COO.
  • Understand and analyze reporting from operations that are generated from Salesforce, NetSuite, and Lattice (our Goal Setting Software). Establish root cause of underperforming analytics and KPIs and develop action plans to address.
  • Required to have a detailed oriented mindset to collect, validate, interpret, and analyze complex data, to identify issues and trends to support fact-based decisions.
  • Managing and planning for resource allocation as the company grows.
  • Managing external service providers, particularly those of high magnitude that impact the business (FedEx, Major Software Vendors, etc).
  • Partner with ancillary departments as determined by COO to drive projects that impact the business (eg. Working with accounting on tasks such quarterly auditing of hardware pricing and margin analysis, working with IT Stakeholders to drive ISO compliance policies, etc.)
  • Experience establishing and maintaining enterprise long-term supplier/partner relationships in tandem with Supply chain and warehouse team.
  • Oversees companywide compliance on initiatives such as ISO and any future regulatory initiatives that will help scale the organization.
  • Working with stakeholders such as human resources or training managers to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters
  • Other duties as assigned by Chief Operating Officer.Qualifications
    • Masters Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or logistics at a rapidly growing / large organization.
    • Experience managing large groups of teams and working with Director, VP level, C-Suite stakeholders.
    • 5 to 8 years of management experience required.
    • 3 to 5 Years' Experience with ERP Software (Netsuite, Salesforce or similar)
    • 3 to 5 years of Regulatory Experience Preferred (cGMP, ISO 9001 or similar)
    • 3 to 5 years' Experience with Objectives and Key Results Methodology (OKR), Management by Objective (MBO) or similar management & or goal setting framework preferred.
    • 5 to 8 Years' Experience understanding, configuring and implementing action plans from data reporting.
    • Experience with Six Sigma, LEAN or other process improvement certification a plus.
    • Experience with Root cause analysis and stakeholder management.
    • Comfortable with cloud-based reporting and utilizing multiple IT systems.
    • Able to work efficiently in a team environment across multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to multitask in a constantly changing, fast-paced, cross-functional environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
