Description:Perform the customary duties of Director of Maintenance in accordance with the Repair Station Manual.Recruitment, retention, and training of A&P mechanics.Plan the workload to optimize the distribution and allocate manpower so that technicians are productive and efficient.Ensure that scope of work on each aircraft is complete.Discuss repair quotes with customers to obtain their approvals of the work. Meet the committed return to service dates. Co-coordinate flight operations to meet the schedules and needs of customers.Maintain overall responsibility for providing a high level of supervision to the fleet being maintained, including the aircraft and engines. The position does not entail working on aircraft but requires oversight on all engines and aircraft being maintained and supervise work done by mechanics on any aircraft in the shop.Supervise the structural repair team which repairs TBMs when an accident has occurred, for example: hard landing, prop strikes, or hail damage. Supervise all trend/performance data and communicate that information to owners of aircraft.Supervise all Mobile Repair Team responses.Supervise events following engine exceedances and other malfunctions. Communicate the information to the customer, to Pratt & Whitney, and to Avex management.Act in accordance with the Repair Station Manual, the Daher Maintenance Manual, Pratt & Whitney Maintenance Manual and the FARs.Coordinate all maintenance, analysis and repair with other departments in order to assure that proper work is performed on customer aircraft.Notify management of all matters adversely affecting the related airworthiness of aircraft, as well as customer related issues and any unusual or significant situations.Communicate effectively and professionally with the company's management, maintenance team, customers and suppliers.Listen, understand and work with customers to provide the highest level of service available and expand on the company's competitive advantage.Skills & Qualifications:Must have Inspector Authorization (I.A.) or able to get one within 3 monthsMust have valid A&P license with no violationsMinimum of 10 Years general aviation and leadership experience, including returning aircraft to serviceExperience with Turbo Prop on Part 91 aircraft (TBM, King Air, PC-12, or similar) About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
