IN MARCH OF 2020, THE TWO COMPANIES CAME TOGETHER TO FORM ALLCLEAR. The Director, Supply Chain will be the Top Engineered Products Supply Chain Leader, accountable for managing $20M+ spend for growing Aerospace, Defense and aftermarket business. The Director is accountable for building, improving, expanding and fostering relationships with 100+ suppliers. This role will lead the function cross-platform/cross-site, developing and executing supply chain strategy to deliver breakthrough cost and customer service. The role will rebuild an organization built around metrics and accountability. The Director will develop and implement a cross-functional OPEX supply chain organization, driving toward daily management and operational excellence. The Director will provide leadership and mentoring to the broader supply chain team, ensuring talent development, continuous improvement, and process execution to achieve goals. Primary responsibilities include the implementation and evaluation of all supply chain logistics activities and procedures, including, but not limited to, material planning, material procurement, inventory control, inventory replenishment, supplier selection, and internal / external consignment inventories. The Director evaluates the segment's supply chain performance against projected costs and schedules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement daily management metrics and maintain accountability Establish process and manage an Approved Supplier List (ASL) through cost and lead time Develop and implement sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP) Develop and implement cost out plan driven through daily management process Develop and own Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) function for manufacturing including the identification and creation of: Integrated processes with customer, operations, and suppliers on the execution, planning, and scheduling processesSystem tools and performance reports to augment forecasting Manage and supervise staff that is tasked with creating forecasts, and processing purchase orders and managing warehouse operations Establish, track, and improve upon key performance indicators: supplier on time delivery; supplier quality; purchase price variance; aged inventory; fill rate; and others that may be defined in coordination with the Supply Chain Analyst Periodic involvement in the preparation of responses to Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, and other requests that lead to new business opportunities Develop solutions to complex logistics support problems with other sites, other functional groups, suppliers, and customers Work effectively across the organization to ensure successful execution of supply chain support on integrated efforts with all operating segments Develops and implements plans inclusive of supplier contracts, routing guidelines, problem resolution and cost containment Evaluates supply chain needs and selection of shipment modes, including coordination with carriers and Operations staff to expedite shipments Assists Operations staff on an as needed basis with maintenance of inventory accuracy and cycle count program Proven ability to build and manage successful teams Make confident, fact-based, decisions and acts on decisions while considering risk Approach problems from different perspectives in order to suggest and implement solutions Identify potential issues in advance in order to prevent potential impacts; both internally and externally Facilitate communication between team members and other functional groups to ensure efforts are aligned Take accountability for key performance indicators, and take ownership of miscues as opportunities for learning, development, and continuous improvement initiatives Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
