Job Description Job Description The Document Control Clerk Shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m Payrate: $21.00/hr • Maintain controlled engineering documents such as drawings, specifications, procedures, and forms. • Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) under guidance and update affected documents. • Assist with document revisions using tools such as: o Adobe Acrobat (markups, redlines, publishing PDFs) o AutoCAD (viewing and basic updates such as title blocks and revision changes) o Microsoft Visio (basic diagrams and process flows -training provided) • Ensure documents are correctly named, versioned, released, and archived per company procedures. • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to route and distribute controlled documents. • Support audits and reviews by retrieving controlled documentation and records. • Follow established quality and document control procedures consistently and accurately. • All other assigned and essential duties as required. Requirement • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or associate degree in a technical or business field is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Comfortable working with computers and learning new software tools. • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Willingness to learn technical documentation, drawing control, and configuration management concepts. • Ability to follow defined procedures and manage multiple tasks. • Clear written and verbal communication skills. • Interest in growing into a technical documentation or configuration management role.
