Job Description:

Major Duties and Requirements: Test current products, identify deficiencies and implement solutions to identified product problems Participate in initiation phase of new product introductions to assist in design for cost effective manufacturing. Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution for new products Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement Oversee continuous improvement projects Identify and implement key KPI---s for product quality Measures variances to standards utilizing SPC and sampling methods, identifies out of control variances, investigates root causes, suggests solutions, and follows up. Create and maintain technical documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standard requirement. Create documentation for panel production, raw material specifications, MSDS and new part numbers by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information. Coordinate and conduct product testing required to guide development and validate that the product meets all specifications. Responsible for timely completion of customer requested forms/templates relative to quality Coordinate internal resolution and completion of corrective actions for all customer complaints Performing verification and validation on products. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization---s policies and procedures Works with Management on all matters related to Quality Effectively communicating with customers and suppliers. Work across multiple time zones. Maintain 5S program. Maintain Quality Database Manage information relative to KPI---s in a timely manner Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage projects Manage quality technician in a team environment Travel: Travel required (Vendors/Customers, Facility) Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields is required Certification from ASQ as CQE or CQA a plus Lean, Six Sigma certification Green Belt and higher a plus. Skills and/or Knowledge Requirements: 5 years in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment in an ISO-9000 environment Composite industry or engineered materials industry experience a plus. Consumer industries experience preferred (recreation, medical, CE, Industrial, Other) Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator. Strong organizational skills with effective time management skills. Highly organized, detail oriented and a good multi-tasker. Working knowledge of sampling plans and Statistical Process Control. Advance level skill using handheld tools such as, but not limited to scales, micrometers, callipers. Proficient with use of spreadsheets, database applications, project and presentation software, and other related software Primary language is English. Ability to speak in Mandarin a plus. Strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of inspection techniques/ability to read technical drawings.
