Job descriptionWe are hiring full-time Special Education Paraprofessionals. The paraprofessional shall be working with students who require a behavioral aide who can also provide academic support. Experience: Minimum of one-year experience working with children as a Special Ed. Paraprofessional. Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and Associates Degree or completion of 48 college units or passage of Instructional Aide Test. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist student in sessions and help to complete work assigned by the teachers. Track student progress and create reports for the student support team s review. Understand what the child is accomplishing academically, socially and emotionally. Monitor the student and minimize distractions and disruption.
