The Opportunity: Seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented approach to work closely with the Sales Team, serving as a strategic partner to develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies for our dietary supplements and wellness products. The ideal candidate will review quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness for products, ensuring alignment with company policies, customer requirements, and market conditions. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. What You’ll Do: Ability to weigh raw materials for usage following Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR). Operation of gummy manufacturing line including adding and mixing raw materials, ensuring proper process flow of gummy blend, and conducting in-process measurements. Analyze customer requests and specifications to ensure quotes are accurate and timely. Ensure quotes comply with pricing guidelines, margin targets and contractual terms. Maintain and update pricing databases, quote templates and configuration tools. Review historical data and market trends to support pricing decisions. Track quote performance metrics (win/loss rates, turnaround time, margin impact, post-award realized margin, etc.). Identify opportunities to improve quoting efficiency accuracy through automation or process enhancements. Support RFP/RFQ responses and assist with proposal documentation when needed. Coordinate with Operations and FP&A to standardize Labor and Overheard efficiencies on volume to expeditiously provide custom costing on a high volume of quotes. Conduct in-depth profitability analysis for existing and new supplement products across various sales channels (retail, contract). Monitor competitive pricing, promotional strategies and market trends to assist in identifying opportunities and threats. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D (Product Development), procurement, operations, FP&A and the Sales team to streamline the quoting processes and improve turnaround times. Build and maintain and update pricing models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales, volume, margin, and customer behavior. Support promotional planning and analyzing historical performance and forecasting ROI. Prepare regular reports and representations including the monthly Sales Report, Profitability Analysis at Contribution Margin and the monthly Financial Results deck for senior leadership on margin, pricing performance and recommendations for improvements. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in quoting, pricing analysis or sales operations. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Experience in a complex manufacturing environment is required. Experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Proficient in complex Excel spreadsheet and database structures required. Strong proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), Power BI experience is a plus. Proficiency in written and verbal English is required. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
