In addition to working in a firm that prioritizes both client success and employee development, you will enjoy: Opportunity for equity ownership in a global accounting firm Diverse client portfolio across industries and entity types Genuine progression to Principal and Partner levels Interstate and international retreats and firm events Modern, bright offices with state-of-the-art technology Performance-based awards and bonuses Competitive paid time off 401(k) with profit sharing Comprehensive health insurance Postgraduate study and professional development support Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Advisory Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax filings, including annual returns, extensions, and informational returns Review tax returns for individuals and entities (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, and 1120S) for accuracy and completeness Prepare and consolidate tax provision schedules and related workpapers Research and recommend tax strategies relating to federal, state, and local taxation matters Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory changes, implementing updates as required Prepare and record book-to-tax adjusting entries Client & Firm Support Act as a key liaison with clients and external vendors Maintain compliance by coordinating filings with relevant tax authorities Identify tax efficiencies and profitability considerations for mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings Coordinate and maintain accurate records for both firm and client engagements Ensure confidentiality and adherence to professional and legal standards Leadership & Process Improvement Review work prepared by staff and provide guidance on tax returns and supporting documentation Provide regular feedback and coaching to direct reports Ensure consistency in workpaper formatting, naming conventions, and documentation standards Develop, streamline, and improve tax procedures, templates, and internal workflows Support firm-wide initiatives and collaborate with affiliates and other departments Professional Development Stay current through continuing education, professional publications, and industry involvement Participate in professional organizations and maintain strong industry networks About You Bachelors degree in Accounting Active CPA required (EA also considered) 8 years of experience in tax compliance and review within public accounting Strong experience with Thomson Reuters tax software , including: UltraTax Workpapers CS SurePrep SafeSend High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Confident communicator with leadership presence and client-facing experience Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting Active CPA required (EA also considered) 8 years of experience in tax compliance and review within public accounting Strong experience with Thomson Reuters tax software , including: UltraTax Workpapers CS SurePrep SafeSend High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Confident communicator with leadership presence and client-facing experience Why Join Us?
