Wage band range $63,600.00 - $95,400.00 annually. However, starting
pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the
candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.
Under the guidance of the CFO, carries out the mission of Casa
Pacifica and is responsible for assisting with the month end
accounting close, monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning
and analysis, variance analyses, and some accounting duties. Also
responsible for preparation, coordination, consolidation, and
reporting of annual budget and mid-year forecast. Prepares,
analyzes, and makes recommendations regarding internal financial
statements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree from a four-year
college or university and 4 years related experience, or
combination of equivalent education and experience in accounting
and finance. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP). Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as
insurance requirements, authorizations, and coverages, safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such
as discounts, interest, percentages, and ratios.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
in standardized situations.
Computer Science - Familiarity with relational database creation
and management with demonstrated ability to extract data for
statistical analysis and reporting. Experience using Standard Query
Language or similar language required.
